Daily Duties at Los Angeles County, Department Of Mental Health :
Assessment of the severely mentally ill children, adolescents, adults and families via psychosocial interviews to family, social, medical, substance use and mental health treatment. Facilitated parenting class/support group, ADHD parenting group, social skills group. Coordinated services via a collaborative of community mental health providers including social workers, mental health clinical supervisors, psychologists, case managers among other disciplines. Performed case management services not limited to linkage, referral and individual rehabilitation with schools, regional centers, community programs and government benefit programs. Worked collaboratively with therapeutic behavioral services for the treatment of behavioral management issues.
