Daily Duties at Mason Harriman Group:

I was responsible for the any financial aspect of an engagement for the company. This included the following : - Evaluation of the financial procedures/policies of the group - A review of the organizational structure ( ranged from 200 to 700 employees/contractors) - The individual engagements had operating budgets of between $800MM and $50B - Developed operating procedures - Evaluated and developed an operational metrics dashboard - Provided weekly updates/presentations to the client of progress/issues - Provided training of new operating models - Assisted in the interview process for new government employees - Developed and negotiated new government contracts - Mentored high level executives • Managed staff of 14 Financial Analysts and three Financial System Analysts • • Develop monthly statutory and management reporting packages to be completed for each legal entity and sub business groups • • • Develop / refine existing annual financial budget model • • Participate in the coordination and collection of data from multiple geographic locations • • Create templates for business reviews by senior management • • Develop standard financial and management reports and dashboards • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes • Support the Senior Management Team and Department Heads with in-depth analysis • Assist with building and maintaining cost based project pricing models Manages the execution of all planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and decision support activities for the Global IT Services groups. Specific focus will be placed on developing timetables, formats and frameworks for these activities to run smoothly and to align with the broader timetables of Finance and Global Finance. Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues impacting IT, focusing specifically on new policy areas where IT Services is an early adopter. Supports the short-term and long-term tactical and strategic goals of Global Finance and IT Services in order to support the current and future needs of stakeholders. Identifies significant operational and financial variances across the teams. Works with Business Aligned CFO roles to develop and understand variance analyses and recommends mitigating action plans. Executes against those action plans. Supports the short-term and long-term goals of the control environment – to facilitate improved specific review of costs prior to commitment . Teams with Global and Area Finance leadership to drive financial operational excellence for IT costs. Works with Area and Sub-Area Finance leaders to bring increased transparency and understanding around IT costs. Acts as a change agent in driving key initiatives that involve process or procedural change for Global Finance and/or IT. Serves as a key leader on the IT Services teams and the EYGS Finance team. Works with Finance and functional leaders to drive the integration of new functions as necessary. Participates in Global Finance work stream initiatives at the request of the Global Operations Controller. Participates with broader IT Services Finance team and leads staff members directly or indirectly in the development, implementation, and support of applications to meet business requirements. Oversees the selection and performance management of staff members. lead a global (virtual) team
