Daily Duties at Academic Year In America:

*To find private or public high schools (HS) that will accommodate foreign high school students (FS)for a year or a half-year of study. *To scout and interview potential host families for foreign high school(HS)students who attend U.S. schools for one to two semesters; *To match Host Families with foreign HS students. *To maintain ongoing communication among, HS, FS, Host Families and AYA and to serve as liaison among these parties. *To conduct in-person monthly interviews with the FS to update their physical, social and educational adjustment to US HS life and to resolve issues that might arise. *To maintain contact with Host Families assisting them with adjusting to hosting a FS and to resolve any issues that might arise. *To update and file monthly reports in regard to adjustment and progress of HS and FS with AYA.
