Daily Duties at Yusen Logistics:
On site role at the customer corporate office. Responsible for providing the customer with planning, forecasting, measuring, and reporting KPI's for all import vendors and providers within the customers international supply chain. Managed and directed the import process from origin locations. Maintained the SOP’s between the customer, carrier, broker, and warehouse operations. Liaison with business systems group and operations group to enhance IT system capabilities. Monitored vendors for compliance with Supplier Compliance Guide. Participated in supplier conferences on subjects pertinent to international supply chain initiatives. Assisted DC’s, category management, vendors, and replenishment to improve efficiencies in the supply chain. Monitored purchase order management, regulatory compliance, vendor management, cargo consolidation management, and supply chain metrics. Liaison with the customers 11 distribution centers and Yusen’s 2 deconsolidation operational teams.
