Key member of team of professionals overseeing provider network of 200 healthcare practitioners. Assembled and reviewed provider applications from healthcare professionals seeking credentialing for inclusion in company’s Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) network. Conducted primary source verification. Compiled reports and cases for review by company’s credentialing committee and produce monthly reports for the Director of Operations. Query licensing and sanctioning databases to obtain current information. Assessed credential files regularly and updated information to meet re-credentialing standards. Investigated and resolved escalated provider claims issues. Provided training and mentoring to entire staff.
