Daily Duties at Cardinal Health:
Utilized approved formulary drugs in the order profiling and drug distribution process, including therapeutic interchanges, and recommended appropriate formulary therapeutic alternatives. Organized order clarifications and clinical interventions. Analyzed and reported pharmacological and disease management information. Supervised pharmacy technicians while providing clinical support to physicians and patients. Counseled patients regarding Coumadin and recommended non-formulary alternatives. Controlled substances inventory and verified daily accuracy of technician daily fill for Pyxis station. Collaborated with psychiatrists, nurses, and pharmaceutical representatives.
