Daily Duties at Christus Spohn Kleberg:
Deliver full range of distributive, clinical, consultative, research, and administrative pharmaceutical services. Select, compound, manufacture, purchase, dispense, and preserve drugs, medicines, and other therapeutic agents. Interpret prescriptions, distribute prescribed products, and inform physician of any synergistic, antagonistic, and cumulative effects as well as questionable overdoses or incompatibilities. Compile and maintain comprehensive records, data, and written reports regarding patient care. Regularly consult with and disseminate drug information to medical team by applying knowledge of physical and chemical properties and characteristics of computing dosages. Instrumental team member Administer complete order entry process through Meditech checking for accuracy, interactions, and completeness. Monitor pharmacokinetics , renal dosing, and therapeutic substitutions to observe efficacy.
