Daily Duties at Cbs Inc.:
Hired as a location audio mixer, to assist the key production mixer inside the inner production control sanctum of Ed Sullivan Theater, with all street level audio including all IFB and wireless for talent. Important function of show whereby NY citizens and/or featured talent must be heard by host and equally importantly, by live audience, with no feedback. NY citizens interacting with host from his desk inside Ed Sullivan theater must be able to hear him clearly as well, with usually no prior knowledge of who host might decide to talk to -- a tricky business but with usually favorable results. Presently called in as needed for special or unusual events. Technical set up of portable microwave bounces and wireless relays to Ed Sullivan theater. Work with staff employees to achieve larger remotes with rented live trucks. Assist stage employees setting music for live-to-tape performance on show.
