Daily Duties at Behavior Therapy And Learning Center:
As a parent trainer responsible for working with parents who had children that had been diagnosed with a developmental disorder, primarily Autism. Interventions taught to parents included behavioral modification techniques to improve compliance and communication, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT). Contracted services were with the Harbor Regional Center and the Regional Center of Orange County. Duties included providing in-home services: behavioral assessments for potential clients, treatment recommendations/planning, behavioral interventions and report writing.
