Daily Duties at City Of San Jose, Department Of Public Works, City Manager's Office:

Public Works labor construction oversight on million dollar bond measure projects such as City libraries, fire stations, community centers, parks, road and infra-sturcture improvements. City policy maintains that found violations were assessed at three times the amount of the violation and repayment of wage underpayment were collected and returned back to the worker. Performed investigation and calculated the wage loss. Developed written reports to City Management for review by Legal. Afforded contractor right for due process in hearing on details of investigation for our Sr Staff for presentation with City Council in CLOSED Session with Contractor.
