Daily Duties at Legacy Behavioral Health Centers:

Hired to do individual counseling for adults, 30 hrs per week. In reality, worked 60 hr weeks and got paid for 30: worked 7 days per week; rarely got a day off, doing also counseling for children and families, groups and couples, writing excessive non-paid paperwork, including for co-workers and colleagues. Therapist: Counseling in-crisis and at-risk adult clients, and families. Helping clients build hope and self-efficacy, through Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Anger Management, and intensive interventions. Facilitating clients' development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems. Counseling clients according to their individual strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.
