Daily Duties at Singapore Mit Alliance:
My research project in Singapore was part of the computational science and engineering group of the Singapore--MIT alliance.I developed mathematical model which proved to be valuable in terms of saving CPU time. The typical CPU time for solving a particular case of a partial differential equation governing the fluid flow was about 12--14 hours, while with the mathematical model, I was able to solve these equations in about 5 minutes. Apart from saving CPU time, by applying the models I had developed, I also achieved significant compression of data generated by solving the PDEs.
