Daily Duties at American Management Association:
was hired in as a Client Service Representative. My original duties to assist the New York Client service manager with the daily client inquire. I was quickly promoted to the New York Center Client Service Manager where I was tasked with managing the New York Center Client Service Desk. I managed the responsibilities of 1 full time and 1 part time employee with the coordinating and disturbing of client welcome packets. After a year I was promoted to the New York Center Operations Coordinator. There I over saw the client service desk as well as other center operations. I was in constant communication with seminar instructors about the needs for their presentations. I directed the operations staff as to the meeting room style, technology needs and other requirements. I worked with other 5 other centers with the coordination of course material ensuring all had the need materials. I distributed weekly seminar schedules to all New York Headquarters staff.
What they like about American Management Association:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
