Daily Duties at Gerdau:
Team lead responsible for the credit and collections of a $115 million portfolio that included over 200 active accounts. Determined credit worthiness of customers by analyzing credit reports, financials statements, and credit interchanges. Authorized to approve up to $750,000 of unsecured credit lines for customers. Reviewed credit standings and credit extension from information gathered and approve or disapprove credit. Compiled month-end reporting, presented material to Sales team and executive management monthly. Acted as a liaison between the company and outside entities including customers, credit agencies, and legal counsel. Participated in professional association seminars and meetings. Contributed to Mergers & Acquisitions team on multiple acquisitions. Started with Gerdau as a Credit Analyst, promoted to Sr. Credit Analyst in September 2010.
