Daily Duties at Gerdau:

Responsible for conducting audits for management to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, compliance with applicable laws and regulations and efficiency and improvement of internal operations (financial and operational processes). Also responsible for assisting with documentation and assessment of internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as the organization and execution of Sarbanes Oxley controls evaluation as it relates to the internal process and control environment. Currenlty play a supporting role in assisting our external auditing firm during annual audits. Scope is for our Production Facilities 15 U.S. Mills, 3 Canadian Mills, 61 value added operations and 19 recycling locations. In addition, Employees 7,400 total exempt and nonexempt with a Product Value $8 billion.
