Daily Duties at Novartis:

● Primary writer in the completion of Animal Care and Use protocols, study protocols, standard operating procedures, and executive reports.  Maintain tracking and use of animals, compounds, and assist principal investigator in ensuring protocol compliance. ● Complete in vivo translational pharmacology studies for the identification of biomarkers, combination strategies, and patient stratification.  Intensively involved in daily activities of study design, assessment of supporting research, and interaction with project team scientists to accurately assess project and study goals. ● Data analysis and data presentation within department and project teams.  Daily data collection, data analysis, preparation of graphs.  Work with principal investigator on project team updates and summaries.  Completion of RDS reports, study reports, and team presentations. ● Research literature and internal project data to participate in project team meetings and determine strategies to accomplish project goals.  Extensive knowledge of internal reports and public literature on projects I am directly involved.  Educated on other projects and compounds being supported within our group, and research information available on projects in the pipeline for future research.
