Daily Duties at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center:

I was hired to work as the Nursing Administrative Security. My primary duties were to assist the ICU, Cath Lab, Med Surg/Tele/Peds, and Skilled directors with daily tasks such as attending to their mail, planning their schedules, and filing their paperwork. I prepared their yearly employee evaluations each month, attended all staff meetings and recorded the minutes, and was in charge of ordering all department supplies for each department. I would help cover the staffing department in the afternoon from 2pm-4pm as needed. I currently report to the CNO, assist all nursing directors, and associate nursing directors. I continue to do all my expected tasks as well as manage the central staffing department, and do several individaul tasks as well (operating under different specific roles).
