Drafted crisis management and situation reports for EP-3 incident on Hainan Island. Helped coordinate official U.S. Government response to all non-military crises with foreign policy implications. • Foreign Service Officer, Ukraine (1998 – 2000). Promoted rule-of-law reform. Performed political reporting and consular duties. Drafted demarche to Ukrainian Foreign Ministry demanding investigation of murder of U.S. citizen. Implemented and ensured compliance for J-1 exchange programs and ensured proper statutory compliance with F-1 student programs. Supervised staff for Non-immigrant visa unit and American Citizens’ Services unit.
