Daily Duties at Depuy Spine:
I was hired as an Osteobiologic Specialist because of my stong science/medical background. I worked with the full line reps to help them sell the biologic portfolio. Because of some changes within the company, I became a full line rep within the first year. I was also responsible for training all surgeons in South Florida on the first FDA approved artificial disc, Charite. I worked closely with surgeons that were part of the IDE study. Responsibilities included managing the use of Depuy Spine products in a specific territory. Managing expectations of hospital and surgeon customers. I was a resource to my customers as an expert in use of the products I represented. As a Spine Consultant, I utilized my product knowledge present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of various product lines. I became a trusted member of the hopital surgical team. I was responsible for increasing the customer base to grow revenue and reach/exceed a yearly quota.
