Daily Duties at Rand Memorial Hospital:
Phlebotomy, Microbiology, Hematology, Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Donor and transfusion departments. Performing complex laboratory testing, problem solving, inventory, quality control, quality assurance, calibration of laboratory ma-chines, statistics, staining methods and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment. Screening non-gynecologic (Non-Gyn) and fine needle aspirations (FNA’s) and interpreting di-agnosis. Reporting of patient results using the Laboratory Information System (LIS), CoPath.
