Daily Duties at Us Tax Court:
I'm a Legal Clerk (typing) who Prepared and maintained all files and record of cases that were file in the Tax Court. Assist the judges and their assistance on seminars and traveled with the jUdges staff to annual conference to keep abreat of roles we played in the legal filed, education westlaw and how it research information on the site. ensured the necessary documents were included in all cases files before submitting them to the court. Received and processed cases; filed and processed motion and pleadings in the case. Prepared and maintained noticies for change of addresses. ensured proper labeling of docket number on the case files. assembly of legal documents and case files review and petitions to determine if they should be granted a request for place of trial. prepared and maintained statistical record and reports for my department. Manage the judges trial calendars.
