Daily Duties at Microsoft Corporation:

Sales / Business Development  Develop sales strategy to manage and grow revenue.  Use solution selling methodology to identify opportunities within accounts to secure and extend product use and increase velocity of sales cycle.  Drive cross group alignment, collaboration and integration between account contacts, internal sales teams and partner delivery teams.  Utilize customer service, problem-solving and communication skills to successfully overcome customer concerns. Executive Relationship Building / Management  Establish and maintain relationships with senior level executives to define and execute initiatives for long term growth and KPI alignment.  Educate clients, helping them to fully understand the value and utility of new and existing products and services.  Known for maintaining loyal relationships by building a reputation of integrity, knowledge and accountability. Partner Program Development / Execution / Management  Develop engagement programs based on assessment of partner community, capabilities, penetration and market demand.  Champion partner feedback through leadership of an executive advisory council.  Develop and provide documentation of business rules, processes and expectations.  Work across multiple teams including corporate partner group, regional partner readiness team, technology team and solutions sales team to develop and deliver successful partner programs and training.  Provide strategic direction for channel events and activities.  Build program to recruit competitive partners. Marketing Strategy / Campaign Development / Execution  Conduct, prepare and review market analysis to determine sales opportunity driven by customer need.  Develop and execute marketing programs to contribute to revenue growth plan.  Manage budgets, planning and execution of targeted customer marketing campaigns and events.  Facilitate lead generation process and manage assigned sales leads.  Measure and report out campaign effectiveness. Operations Management – US Partner Account Manager Role Owner  Develop and drive strategic direction, commitments, business rules, guidance and training for 100 Partner Account Managers.  Develop communication strategy and integration among Partner Account Managers.  Lead cross-pollination of best of breed behavior and activities.  Drive a consistent, predictable and cohesive community for Partner manager leads, assessing skills, identifying gaps and providing training/direction.
