Daily Duties at Md Air National Guard:

• Directed, monitored, commanded as full time Officer of aircraft maintenance operations and activities maintaining workforce discipline, budget submission, and responding to personnel issues. • Plan and organized daily aircraft maintenance activity/production for 15 (A-10) fighter aircraft. • Plan, develop, and publish aircraft logistical policies and procedures according to required schedule. • Coordinate/communicate logistical policies, procedures, modification, and guidance with unit superiors, base activities, aircraft depots, and higher command. • Planned and ensured timely budgeting of aircraft parts, tools, and manpower of $8-11M per year. • Provided Staff supervision of 44 full time weapons and flight-line maintenance personnel. • Provided Staff Supervision of 87 full time aircraft maintenance (back-shop) personnel. • Established support requirements for supply requisition, repair cycle, delivery, and munitions • Identified all logistical support activities by planning, organizing, and directing unit deployments identifying delays or problems with corrective actions to NGB, MAJCOM’s, and Wing Commander. • Developed joint program planning/coordinating with higher command, staff activities, and other military services/civilian agencies - advised Wing Commander on all deployment matters. • Successfully directed and performed deployment activities by integrating maintenance, supply, transportation, contracting, operations, and support functions for over 16 deployments, three exercises, two ORE’s and one ORI, that resulted in the first excellent rating for Wing Plans. • Coordinated, directed, and negotiated working groups by facilitating meetings to monitor State and Support Agreements with other agencies for fiscal management in order to meet logistics planning. • Supervised assigned teams and determined mission-specific logistical plans and financial requirements by planning and performing field site surveys to installations for deployment planning.
