Daily Duties at Northeast Utilities:
Oversaw implementation of a newly created Governmental Affairs program to further strengthen relationships with elected municipal officials and comply with new emergency preparedness regulations. Developed an understanding of each municipality’s needs and works with Company Operations and Communications to deliver superior service, including the preparation for and during emergencies. Served as liaison to Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security during and after emergency events.
