Daily Duties at Bank Of New York Mellon:

 Created Business Requirement Documents and functional specifications to outline and define the scope of various clients’ securities and cash processing requirements.  Liaised with clients to determine derivative processing specifications. Coordinated with in- house processing areas and outside vendors to modify trading platforms. Tested and identified areas where improvements or additions to the platform were required.  Managed Derivative Processing Team by creating, testing and developing Procedural and Business Requirement Documents. Procedures were successfully planned, tested and transitioned into a functional derivative processing platform.  Managed and coordinated efficient and complete customer transitions to become part of the Bank of New York’s Outsourcing Division. This included interpreting client’s requirements, system mapping, testing, identifying problems and correcting problem areas from inception to transition.  Coordinated efforts between various areas within the Bank of New York to aggressively upgrade in-house systems to meet clients’ needs. I coordinated these efforts using several timelines and projected milestones.  Developed a business plan for the auto match process between account and portfolio relationships.  Created daily, weekly and monthly asset and Nostro account reconciliations.  Developed and administered daily Third Party Customer (TPC) reconciliations process via an Electronic Processing system. This included obtaining and processing customer and account setup, broker and bank pay/receive information, Swift protocol and trade date.  Established procedures to create and utilize Exception Reports which are instrumental in identifying problem areas within the Bank’s trade and cash processing systems.  Client/Vendor Interface Manager: Responsibilities are to liaise with various customers to obtain and distribute accurate account opening and administrative packages to be distributed to the various accounting and reconciliation teams.  Worked with the Risk Management Team to monitor and report suspect activity via OFAC (Office of Foreign Affairs) World Check Database and their Website.
