Primary Oracle DBA. Oracle software installation, upgrades, and support. Attended 15 days of Veritas Filesystem, Backup, and Instance watch administration training at Veritas Corporation. Administered 5 Oracle databases running under MSWindows and Solaris used by 200 clients in a 24x7 environment. Configuration of Oracle high availability using Veritas Firstwatch and hot standby. Database tuning using Enterprise Manager, Q-Diagnostics, Patrol, sql hints, and tkprof. Backup and recovery using SQLBacktrack, Netbackup, Legato, and export/import. Database patch upgrades and migration. Solaris installations and patch upgrades.
