Daily Duties at Orascom Telecom Group:

Founded and launched the operations of Djezzy’s new professional Marketing department (Djezzy Entreprise). Introduced Mobile Fax, SMS, M2M/telemetry, WAP, GPRS & MMS Solutions as well as new offers for the enterprise & government segments. Promoted to manage the Communications, Products & Services and Market Research/Geomarketing Departments of a fixed joint venture operator, lacom. Managed & coached a team of 17 employees working in various functions. Sales assistance to the corporate sales teams to close deals and contracts with key Enterprise, Government, National Security and Army key accounts. Managed a budget of 6.5M$. • Created and coached a strong team of locals, transferred skills and supported them in the successful development of voice/data products and services & managing their life cycle in the Telecom market. • Launched 3G PC Mobile Modems/Sticks and M2M/mobile solutions for the enterprise market. • Conducted presales activities & demos for Government, Army and National Security Officers. • Mobilized Banking ATM’s using Mobile GSM modems (M2M) and VSAT. • In 2006-2007, re-launched lacom (join venture) fixed-lines operations and offerings which tripled sales and achieved more than 25% of the existing customer base. • During the year 2003/2004, I had an Operations Supervisory, Monitoring and Support Role for OTA/Djezzy and Tunisiana (N. African carriers), based in HQ office.
