Expert management of a diverse range of cases from joint replacement to end-stage conditions including cancer, MS, ALS, dementia and strokes. Supervised peers and guides nurses in best practices, daily responsibilities and unique emergency situations. Reviewed and updated patient's charts, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Daily medication computer charting, prepared schedule and make frequent rounds. Analyzed and monitored vital signs include oxygen saturation, lung sounds, bowel sounds and blood sugars. Inserted and removed Foley catheters, nasogastric insertions, gastric tube insertions and monitor of tube feedings, tracheostomy care, suture removal and wound care. Educated patients and their families about conditions, prognoses and proper care after discharge.
