Daily Duties at Honolulu Medical Group:

I was hired as an IV nurse to administer Remicade to qualified rheumatoid arthritic patients. But I also participated in nursing supervision of the building, assisting in patient care with IV needs and other nursing procedures; worked in various clinics including cardiology, oncology, and family practice. Maintained patient safety. Assisted MD in stress tests. Performed EKGs. Mointored lab results and reported to MD on patients receiving anticoagulant therapy and notified patients of any changes in dosage. Resource nurse and preceptor. Patient advocate. Maintained patient safety.
