Daily Duties at Child Health Consults:
• Consults on case management of children who are presenting signs of illness, injury, and abuse. • Maintains a large caseload, ensuring the proper interventions are taken in a timely manner. • Reviews medical charts in order to assess current and past situations; follows HIPPA guidelines. • Collaborates regularly with healthcare providers, attorneys, and accreditation organizations. • Educates staff and families in finding and accessing community resources. • Conducts at-home visits within the community, ensuring the proper adherence to treatment plans. • Assists in the facilitation of necessary referrals for resources to support cases. • Reports to the Department of Human Services on a bi-weekly basis on the progress/status of cases
