• Hired as a Customer Services Associate, later promoted to a Department Manager and Floating Assistant Store Manager. • Member of the new-store set-up and grand opening crew. • Provided excellent customer service. • Managed the Seasonal, Power Equipment, Plumbing, Home Décor, and Paint Departments. • Conducted sales for Special Order Sales (SOS). • Merchandise ordering, pricing, and stocking. • Conducted weekly cycle-counts, monitored and controlled shrink, and conducted bi-annual store inventories. • Prepared staff schedules. • Trained, coached, and monitored staff performance. • Managed front-end, including cash-handling, price-checks, and customer assistance. • Served as a cashier, returns, and customer service associate. • Accepted and verified deliveries. • Maintained positive vendor relations. • Received an “Extra-ordinary” Rating by a secret shopper.
