Daily Duties at Eleventh Circuit Court, Federal Judiciary:

• Assisted the Circuit Executive of the federal appellate court covering Alabama, Florida, and Georgia in administering administrative activities for the court such as the recruitment of professional position, personnel and staff relations, planning, coordinating, and conducting special events. • Provided policy analysis and development, and program management to the Judicial Council. • Conducted recruitment, selection, and appointment activities for bankruptcy judges, bankruptcy administrators, and federal public defenders throughout the Eleventh Circuit. • Developed and resolved planning complexities of the court’s Continuity of Operations Plan and Pandemic Plan. • Served as the court’s Security Liaison and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. • Served as the Employee Dispute Resolution Officer. • Served as a liaison to the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, the Federal Judicial Center, district and bankruptcy courts within the circuit, the U.S. Marshal’s office, bar associations, General Services and other organizations concerned with the administration of justice. • Planned, coordinated, and conducted analytical studies and assessments of programs, organizations, operations, resources, and information. • Conducted confidential and sensitive investigations and fact-finding interviews; performed comprehensive records reviews; prepared objective reports of findings. • Coordinated with the circuit executive and court unit executives on matters referred, followed-up on actions taken, informed the executives about these activities. • Served as a point-of-contact and provided interpretation and guidance on administrative requirements, local rules of court, policies, procedures, programs, methods, and practices; provided assistance and input on the design, conduct, and reporting of program and management reviews, evaluations, and other analytic efforts. • Researched and evaluated complex policy and management issues; assessed options, costs and benefits. • Prepared reports and made presentations; supported planning and reporting systems; and monitored plans and progress toward accomplishing goals and objectives.
