Daily Duties at Sanpulse Technologies:

Assist in preparation of architecture, design, specifications, and project scope documentation. Additionally, desired candidate will be responsible for executing installation, configuration, testing, support and documentation for the SANlogics deliverables. Mastery level knowledge of all major storage hardware platforms required with hand on expertise with a minimum of one major hardware platform (i.e. EMC, HDS, IBM). Knowledge and or experience with storage and or server virtualization, back-up and data de-duplication technologies a plus. Strong technical knowledge of data center issues, including physical infrastructure, and multiple experiences participating in enterprise data center upgrades and data migrations is desirable. The SANpulse Senior Storage Architect is ultimately responsible for the design, development, implementation and technical management of the engagement. The individual will also act as a liaison to other departments on all technical matters related to SANlogics optimization. Architecting / Engineering / Implementing & Maintaining a SANlogics environment Designing, implementing and supporting SAN optimization projects. Developing, enhancing, implementing and keeping up-to date standards, best practices, procedures and policies for SANlogics hardware and software. Working with directors, managers, and developers within the major technology business verticals for relationship building and expectation management. Completion of project activities including, but not limited to, the following: Collecting required source and target environmental data from vendors and customers. Verifying compatibility and supportability of targeted hardware and software. Site preparation for upcoming SAN or NAS optimization projects (foundation building). Acquiring, installing, configuring and fine tuning the physical SANlogics application servers. Installing and configuring the SANlogics application and embedded utilities. Developing canned and custom reports and other required documentation. Defining and developing SANlogics modules, via a GUI, as required to meet project objectives. Maintaining the operational health of the SANlogics infrastructure and the modules within it: monitoring log files, defining issues with the production environment for mission critical system issues. Escalating hardware and software related issues that cannot be resolved in-house. Developing all project technical reports and summary presentations. Role and Responsibility
