Daily Duties at Dr Stevensons Pediatric Facility:
Developing, monitoring and altering comprehensive health care treatment programs by: a. formulating comprehensive data base physical and psychological health histories, physical examinations, and evaluations of laboratory diagnostic testing; b. discriminating between normal and abnormal findings in planning treatment interventions; c. discussing significant abnormal findings with other health care professionals; d. synthesizing complex clinical data in order to formulate implement and evaluate a nursing management plan for individuals; e. modeling interdisciplinary collaboration with other health care professionals in the school to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient/client outcomes; f. instructing students in the acquisition of information related to health and wellness; and g. initiating and implementing appropriate consultations and referrals. Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of alleged child maltreatment, clinical pediatric nursing, healthcare management, and the coordination of care services and utilization of community resources.
