Daily Duties at Cargill:
Responsible for product research and development for agricultural-based starting materials. Conducted daily product synthesis and analysis. Spearheaded efforts to expand the operation from laboratory scale to a large-scale manufacturing plant. Provided technical support and expertise to teams at the Chicago manufacturing site. Served as primary liaison with contacts at the Brazilian manufacturing site. Responsible for pilot plant synthesis (10, 50 gallon reactors) of new products as well the improvement of existing products. Scale up operations of pilot reactions and to 5,000 gallon reactors.
