Daily Duties at Aptuit:

Daily responsibilities included laboratory operations, development, troubleshooting, and synthesis of custom and cGMP radiochemical processes according to cGMP guidelines. Synthesize and characterize [14C], [13C], [3H], [2H], and non-labeled APIs as potential drug candidates. Skilled in various purification techniques such as chromatography, recrystallization, trituration, fractional distillation, semi-preparative chromatography, and others. Plan and manage project. Document, analyze, and evaluate project results. Generate new business through proposal development for new and current customers, communicating with clients to discuss technical details. Present new developments in research methodologies and instrumentation. Provide ongoing training to team members, including mentoring them on new processes or instrumentation operation. Address and resolve technical problems as needed. Ensure alignment with OSHA, EPA, RCRA, NRC, and ICH standards. Coordinate equipment operation and maintenance, including calibrations, repairs, and use of Bruker 400 MHz NMR System. Perform QC analysis (stability testing, COA generation) on API under cGMP and research guidelines.
