Daily Duties at Amgen:
● Hands-on experience with designing and implementing large, high availability, multi-site Microsoft Exchange 5.5/2003/2007 cluster utilizing NAS and SAN technology ● Experience in Microsoft Office Communications Server (Unified Messaging) and deployment, administration and support in an enterprise environment. ● Knowledge of Windows Server permissions and Active Directory delegation. ● Enterprise environment experience, 65,000+ seats/mailboxes. ● Virtualized environment ● Strong knowledge of backups, restores, disaster recovery models ● Manage and Provide leadership for international communication and Collaboration initiatives working with members from around the world. ● Build and maintain a national Exchange platform. ● Working knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory and Microsoft clustering technology ● Proven problem solver with good organization skills to manage all issues; including Exchange and NetApp storage and backup. ● Configuration and usage of email clients ● Manage vendor and technology evaluation and selection processes to ensure cost effective and reliable services. ● Exchange anti-virus, encryption and message security ● Hands on experience with the establishment of hardware and network installation for data centers and network management.
