Daily Duties at Utah Army National Guard:

Currently assigned responsibilities include: Plans, programs, directs and coordinates the administrative functions of the Utah National Guard. Provides overall technical and administrative direction to administrative support activities, including mail management/distribution, records management, reprographics. Develops and implements policies and procedures necessary for the effective administration of the Freedom of Information/Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) and State Government Records Administrative Management Act (GRAMA). Manages and uses funds allocated for operations of the branch, including stockroom, property maintenance and other reimbursable accounts Appointed Certifying Officer Representative (COR). Coordinates with contractors, vendors and government agencies for purchasing, leasing, and renting of equipment to ensure contract requirements and needs are met. Ensuring contracting processes are ethical, within regulatory guidance, and meets Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). Analyzes, Plans, develops, executes and analyzes variations of Administrative Services budget. Ensures objectives of annual financial plans are met by analyzing processes and procedures, and implementing appropriate funding action to ensure overall goals are met or exceeded. Analyze data for reasonableness and consistency of estimates, recommending final award action to contracting officer for award
