Daily Duties at Tei:

As Linux engineer -SysteLINUX-UNIX responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related ms Administrator infrastructure, participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation. Also responsible for maintaining all computer systems, Server management is a primary responsibility, working extensively with various servers related UNIX-LINUX (Red Hat, Solaris, AIX,HP-UX) and installing, maintaining and upgrading servers ,ensuring the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access using tools Firewall, IP protocol suite, system configurations and lately performing light programming Scripting in Perl, KORN, Shell & Python. Mainly, assigned today as IT Manager of the department over the last 3 years, responsible for all computer Systems within the entire Organization and Computing Department, overseeing installation, ensuring back up systems operate effectively, purchasing hardware and software, providing the ICT technology infrastructures for the entire organization and contributing to organizational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning. Managing daily over 25 IT technicians, programmers, Systems and database administrators reporting to my tasks managing plans and goals . Also responsible for the implementation of Technology within organization and direct the work of Systems and business analysts,computer programmers, support specialists and other Computer related workers. Duties within my role are ultimately, planning developing, and implementing the ICT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness for the needs of scheduling upgrades and security backups of Hardware and Software Systems in order to ensure the smooth running of all ICT Systems.
