Daily Duties at Tuskegee University:

Synthesized of phenolic-based resins and silicate-based nanocomposites for high temperature applications; fillers included montmorillonite nanoclays, halloysite nanotubes, silicate nanoparticles, and polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) nanoparticles. Fabricated materials using in situ polymerization, sol-gel synthesis, and condensation polymerization. Tested and characterized thermal, mechanical, structural, morphological, and fire material properties.
