Daily Duties at Corinthian College Inc:

CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR – MEDICAL ASSISTING PROGRAM ● Instructs assigned courses in accordance with competencies/ objectives ● Constantly develops and utilizes a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods designed to meet individual learning styles ● Directly supervising students by explaining and demonstrating related laboratory/ practical procedures. ● Coach, guides and empowers students to achieve optimum success, and continuously monitors their placement and success. ● Continuously works with the Career Service Department for students’ possible success in job placements and various community exposures for students. ● Continuously looking for ways to improve and aim for the best for both the department and the students. ● Courses taught: ○ Patient Care & Communication ○ Clinical Assisting and Pharmacology ○ Medical Insurance, Bookkeeping & Health Sciences ○ Cardiopulmonary & Electrocardiography ○ Laboratory Procedures ○ Endocrinology and Reproduction ○ Medical Law, Ethics, and Psychology BLS-HP INSTRUCTOR ● AHA certified BLS instructor ● Handles CPR Classes working in conjunction with other CPR instructors ● Responsible for submission of student’s documents training center for issuance of their BLS Certification cards ● Maintains and keeps track of BLS documents and student’s BLS Certification record both in CVU and student’s files HEALTH and SAFETY COORDINATOR ● Worked under the direct supervision of the Campus President and Corinthian College’s Senior Health and Safety Manager in maintaining a safe environment in the Hayward campus. ● Implemented a strict training process for all employees making sure that they follow the required training mandated by the organization. ● Monitored and kept track of employees, making sure that everyone has undergone the OSHA trainings in compliance with the OSHA regulation ● Kept and maintained necessary documentation for employees training verification ● Worked directly with Stericycle Training Agent for the annual PPE/BBP training of all MA instructors
