Provided complete (proactive and responsive) legal support and day-to-day legal advice to clients regarding general corporate matters, commercial contracting, government contracting, employment law, immigration law, telecommunications, regulatory and statutory compliance, risk management, licensing and technology matters, IP enforcement considerations, and litigation. Reviewed and drafted contracts; negotiated terms with third parties (customers, vendors, suppliers, and consultants). Monitored, researched, analyzed and provided guidance on developments in laws and regulations (e.g., FARs). Reviewed, analyzed, and prepared responses to EEO charges of discrimination, unfair labor practice charges, and similar administrative agency complaints. Conducted investigations. Served as counsel in arbitration proceedings and proceedings before state and federal administrative agencies (including NLRB and EEOC). Managed personal injury and employment-related litigation, legal compliance, and corporate governance. Interpreted laws, rulings, and regulations. Resolved disputes and claims. Drafted and negotiated sales, teaming, reseller, nondisclosure, subcontracts, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other complex contractual relationships. Also responsible for formation of limited liability companies and joint ventures.
