Daily Duties at Cdi Corporation:
-Maintain monthly account reconciliations. -Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including: revenue and expense accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations, trend analysis, payroll allocations and fixed asset expense allocation/reconciliation. -Perform monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis. -Adhere to various controls implemented in the Finance and Accounting Department resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. -Worked closely with internal and external auditors to ensure the financials were closed each period in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. -Supported recurring and adhoc financial reporting analyses. -Maintain fixed asset sub-ledgers for four separate companies. -Communicate problem between various departments and work to resolve them. -Assist in reporting to the SEC the quarterly earnings.
