Daily Duties at Oce Imagistics:
• Implemented and Controls Credit Card Systems through First Merchant Bank, which included contract negotiation, bank reconciliation, implemented procedures, process flow, tie outs and problem solving • Initiated and implemented team building environment for the employees by utilizing process improvement tools, project management, proposals and presentations • Performs and prepares annual payroll budget • Manages a staff of 30+ employees which includes 2 direct reports and 28 indirect reports • Accomplished a high level of accuracy by conducting audits as well as researching by using various reporting tools partnering with the Accounting, Finance, Credit Department and Legal Department. • From 2003-2005 managed and supervised lock box department with monthly revenue totaling $25M-$35M+; follow-up with semi-annual lockbox transmissions audits. • Responsible for running daily lock box reports to review and process unapplied payments, batch reports and end of the month tie-outs Improved efficiency by analyzing current processes and procedures related to the billing cycle and recommended changes to the Region Vice President. • Ensured system tie-outs between Billing, AR and General Ledger, daily, weekly, and monthly • Prepared accruals for earned and unearned revenue monthly. • Employed policies and procedures for time and attendance, flex schedules, end-of-month and quarterly schedules to increase employee morale, productivity and performance • Documented functional requirements and process flows of current and future business operations for Oracle implementation • Created Diagram Flows using the VISO tool to address areas of concern and possible alternatives • Functional Core Team Lead on ERP Team for Cash Management to Order Processing • Created Functional Spec documents for conversion, interface enhancements and reports • Provided direction to the technical team to test programs, review information, and answer questions • Facilitated testing of the new Oracle applications to ensure that all indicated business requirements were met that data was transferred properly and that configuration met the business practices • Conducted Integration Testing on Lock Box, Credit Card (Level 2 Platform), Accounts Receivable and Invoicing through Auto Invoice • Conducted Unit Testing/String Testing on AR collection module, contract module, install-database, credit card processes etc. • Created Functional Specification for various projects; cash on account conversion, credit card, summary invoices, and EDI interface etc. • Executed data cleansing of thousands of records within six months in preparation for a new operating system conversion (Oracle) • Facilitated and handled trouble shooting system issues with AS400, and Conversant • Provided technical support to the sales field on their sales commission report • Conducted several presentations to the VP, CFO of OCE • Performed training workshops for the employees on Oracle applications, Process Improvement and Business Function concepts. • Presented Quarterly Reviews to clients • Credit Manager that investigates new & existing customers to determine credit limits and risks. Reviews customer financial statements, prepares credit summary and/or recommends credit approvals and approves credit limits.
