Daily Duties at Horizon Distribution, Inc:
As Project Manager while being a full time buyer I provided training and proper usage of new purchasing software. Traveled annually to Atlanta for new inhancements to software, passing on critical changes to buying staff. Trouble shoot our AS400 Computer System for the etrim purchasing software. Excellent at refining the purchasing staff in the critical elements of purchasing, savings and maximization of profit margin opportunities while maintaining the operation of purchasing software. In 2003 I was also lead Buyer for a new Industrial Cutting Tool Supply project for our industrial division. I provided training with sales staff and worked with the purchasing team on various industrial manufacturers we worked with. Continued to maintain my normal duties as a buyer for the Hardware, Power Tool & Accessories, Industrial, Agricultural, Automotive, Pet Supplies and Seasonal Confectionary product lines.
