Daily Duties at Aig:
Supervised quarterly GAAP and statutory reporting and consolidation for AIG’s Property & Casualty division, consisting of 17 insurance companies. Managed corporate staff of two supervisors and five support personnel tasked with fulfilling GAAP, Statutory and the Warranty agencies’ accounting and reporting processes and related annual audit. Served as primary liaison for internal and external auditors regarding company’s GAAP and statutory reporting practices. Reported financial information directly to senior corporate leadership to support statutory MD&As (Management, Discussion, and Analysis) and statutory footnote schedules.
