Daily Duties at Adc Telecommunications, Systems Integration Division :
Oversaw auditing process for SBC Ameritech and AT&T installations for 5-state mid-western region with more than 1K CO switches. Directed team of approximately 10 employees and mentored fellow auditors on proper installation and inspection procedures. Reviewed engineering specifications and supervised installation of all ironwork and power, fiber, and switching cables for multiplexers, digital cross-connect systems, SONET terminals, and multiple transport installations and light guide systems. Led staff training and met regularly with customers to examine new standards and drive continuous improvement.
