Managing two pharmacies, scheduling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, hiring, firing, and overseeing day to day pharmacy operations. Ensure all third party prior authorizations are correctly processed. Perform audits, administer IRR and prepare reports on PA process. Review and manage activities related to government agencies, like DHCS and CMS. Perform needs assessment, develop RFI and RFP for new pharmacy system implementation. Managing pharmacy operations to achieve business objectives by increasing sales and gross margins, managing equipment, limiting expenses, directing operations to minimize wait times, monitoring pharmacy performance metrics, and developing store programs to help meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume. Maintain inventory levels to company goals, rotate stock, comply with recalls, and utilize drug return process. Enforces compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Developed company policy and procedure manual.
