Daily Duties at Vinson & Elkins Llp:

•Responsible for office moves, renovations and build-outs, coordinates all office moves, repairs, renovations and build-out of new space. •Functioned as a liaison with architects and construction contractors on building projects. • Oversaw the maintenance and functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and controls/EMS. • Responsible for security system, fire, emergency response and general safety initiative (fire drills, evacuation drills, monitor team, monthly testing of all safety equipment) including coordination of fire wardens and searchers. Maintained current list of all floor wardens and coordinates with the building management regarding periodic fire and evacuation drills. •Handled monthly review of facilities budget line items/categories such as occupancy costs-storage and moving and office expenses-repairs and maintenance. • Maintained relationships with building management staff and facility vendors including HVAC, plumbing and electrical. • Developed, implemented, and maintained key performance indicators for performance reporting to upper management. Compares against industry benchmarks to measure performance. •Initiated and implemented policies, procedures and guidelines for support systems including; supplies, mail services, conference services and reproduction services. •Managed all duties related to maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) as well as capital equipment purchases.
