In charge of overseeing circulation strategies for 4 business publications for different industries with one direct support and a $600,000 expense budget for this former global entity. Yearly, had to obtain 150,000 subscribers with the right demographic information that advertisers wanted to target. Performed competitive analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of my publications’ circulation compared to the other publications in the marketplace and identify opportunities for potential advertisers. Established project goals for all 85 email and direct marketing projects completed each year, and each project had an A/B test. Researched and developed tools to drive process improvements, data modeling, revenue growth for list sales and advertising revenue. These new tools saved time and $10,000. Achieved aggressive goals constantly multitasking and meeting deadlines in this fast paced environment with little supervision and always having a positive attitude. Planned presentations for sales meeting highlighting why advertisers should buy space in our publications over the competitors and trained sales staffs how to use circulation information in their RFP’s. Planned day long strategy sessions with publication publishers to discuss the market and collaborate on opportunities and establish objectives. I needed to be well versed on the market to help develop copy for marketing projects and help convince potential subscribers that they needed to sign up. I wrote a yearly budget and business plan for each of the 4 different publications. Finally, I monitored expenses, updated financials, and forecasted financials.
